Tidy house on weekdays?

If you work outside the home, how tidy do you leave your house on a weekday?
Breakfast things washed up, beds made, children's comforters and other Knick-knacks back in their rooms, general house tidiness?
I work for myself so am lucky that I wfh, but once I've dropped off at nursery I always spend 15-20 mins straightening the house out a bit before I get on with it.
Today I didn't have time, so DD's bed never got made Blush.
Tell me you leave the place very slightly 'abandoned'!

Blimey no. Early mornings are get up, get washed, get fed, get dressed, get out.
I used to put a wash on if I could so it would be done when I got home, or sometimes empty dishwasher between mouthfuls of food. Or sometimes chuck stuff I'd prepared the night before into the slow cooker, but no "tidying"

No.
Mid-week mess is usually;
Dishwasher clean and full but yet to be emptied.
One work surface full of dirty cutlery for the next load.
Bedrooms messy.
Clean laundry on backs of chairs to be put away.
Clothes drying on airer.
General clutter and stuff everywhere.

I prioritise eating well, homework and getting organised for the next day. Everything else is left until Fridays when I don't work and try to catch up.

A shit tip that gets left til the weekends tbh

I don't wash breakfast things, but I do put stuff in the dishwasher if I have time. Sometimes put a wash on or slow cooker on. I usually make beds while DS is pissing about getting dressed.

I almost always leave the house tidy before we leave in the mornings. I get up half an hour early to do this. Usually involves putting a washing on,doing dishes/ emptying the dishwasher and reloading, putting all the crap back where it goes. On a good day I get something in the slow cooker for dinner too!

But both DH and I work full time so if we didn't, we'd have to do it in the evenings, post dinner / clubs for DD/ gym for us. It'd be too much. I'm knackered by the end of all of that and usually in bed by half nine!

You've all made me feel much better, thanks. (Except @Blankiefan who is clearly superhuman and therefore can be discounted Wink)

The place is a bombsite today as have been up all night with both toddler and me vomiting. Yay.
