Hi girls, we are having our 4 grandchildren aged 2years to 7 for the day on Christmas eve and want to take them somewhere! Any ideas of somewhere that doesn't charge £35 ph?

Breakfast with Santa. Around £15 pp (around here, central Scotland). Just make sure you tell them that the elves will already have packed the sleigh so they can't ask for anything that's not already been in their letters. Then you could get them to help you bake mince pies or cookies to leave out for him. Use jus-rol and a jar of mincemeat to make it easier. You'd still have money in the budget for a cinema trip Frozen 2 will be out but there will be loads of kids movies. Taking snacks and drinks with you will keep cost down.

Should have said Breakfast with Santa - check local garden centres & carvery type restaurants they all seem to do it.

Are their any reindeer farms near you? That’s where we’re headed on Christmas Eve! X

We always do the beach. Super cheap, Fresh air and running around wears them out so they sleep well ready for Father Christmas Wink
take a simple picnic and Cosy onesies to change in to straight after.
I make hot chocolate in a flask, marshmallows, pork pies/ sausage rolls and hokey pokey Brew Grin Can't wait.
