How to have RAZZMATAZZ dreams?

Kalim8 · 17/10/2019 09:48

I'm feeling flat and dull, I'd like to have amazing dreams to make up for it.

I used to listen to "lucid dream" music on YouTube and that worked nicely for a short time, intense dreams and feeling like a superhero, but that doesn't seem to be working as well now.

Any suggestions please? Thank you

I tend to have bonkers dreams if I have a fever or my bedroom is too warm.

Not sure if that counts as razzmatazz dreams.

Second thought, can you not just daydream? Or is your imagination/ability to immerse yourself not strong enough for what you want?

managedmis · 17/10/2019 20:38

Isn't it razzAmatazz?

Velveteenfruitbowl · 17/10/2019 20:38

Don’t. You’ll get exhausted. I have very very vivid dreams. After a while it gets to you and sleep doesn’t feel at all restful. If anyone can advise me on achieving closure you eyes and then open them to find it’s suddenly the next morning sleep on a regular basis though I would be most interested.

What did the lucid dream music do?

frazzledasarock · 17/10/2019 20:42

Valerian root will give you very vivid dreams.

You can find valerian root pills in Holland & Barrett.

My dreams are always vivid, weird, downright bonkers. I think it's down to the citalopram I take every morning; vivid dreaming is a known side-effect. For me, every night is an adventure but I could do without it, TBH.

morhan12, the lucid dream music gave me some epic dreams, felt as though I was in an action movie, and once I almost realised I was dreaming (as I turned to student friends I'd not seen for 20 years and excitedly explained that the Millennium Falcon we'd just seen swooping through the sky wasn't actually real - failing to grasp that neither were they).

quincejam my daydreams don't feel real as dreams can. I tend to have bad dreams when too hot.

Valerian sounds cool (also enjoyed the film!), frazzledasarock I shall head to h&b at the weekend. Gleeful!

wildrosie I didn't experience vivid dreams with citalopram. I hope your sleep becomes more restful.

velveteenfruitbowl have you tried "this works" sleep spray? Unsure if it'll stop the dreams though.

managedmis probably.

I have vivid dreams when Ill or injured. I’ve put my back out and have had amazing dreams on the pain killer drugs. I don’t recommend this though!

Kalim8 · 18/10/2019 06:50

Making a note, Frankie001! (not really! Although I do have a paper cut, pass the codeine or whichever it is that makes me feel wonderfully spacey and then nauseous)
