I love butter Grin
But I also know it's not good for me, or is it?

Have heard it's the most natural so must be ok to it's an artery hardener stay a million miles away.

So if it's not the healthiest thing, is there a good substitution and if so, what?

Likewise sugar. Trying to cut back massively Stevia (liquid format with agave seems ok?)

Love to hear thoughts of the nutritionists/ dieticians on here!

It's difficult to give advice on single foodstuffs, it needs the context of everything else you are eating. Butter on a heap of broccoli and spinach is different from butter on a croissant. But generally a small amount of butter is better than trans fats. And use other plant based oils - olive, coconut, avocado.

Cutting down on sugar is good but retraining your palate so you don't need to replace it is better than using alternatives. There are some studies which show the body reacts similarly to sugar and sugar replacements.

Thanks @venusandmars good advice.

I suppose a little bit of butter is ok.

Seeing rows of butter / margarine etc in the supermarket always had me wondering which is the lesser of two evils. Just always wondered what nutritionist/ dieticians thought
