Next to me type cots

Hi
Trying to decide on cot and like the idea of a next to me or similar. I'm due for a c-section and wondered how easy it will be shifting halfway down my bed to get around the next to me cot. Has anyone else found it ok after a csection? I used a normal cot last time (also C Section) with drop sides which was at the end of my bed. I like the idea of a next to me type cot though. Any recommendations?

I have a next to me (Chicco) and I love it, had a c section also. Not great for the first couple of days but I don’t think anything would be. The next to me is really spacious, i don’t attach it to my bed so I can just move it out of the way if I need to get up in the night. I think the resell value is good on them as well so if you got a good one on offer you would get some money back if you decided to sell it on

Hi there, I am using a next to me crib and had an emergency c section. I found it really awkward when it was attached to my bed to be honest. I really needed some room to swing my legs to get out of bed. I found my recovery tough though. However, I think the baby also preferred having all sides up after a stay in special care in a little confined cot. Don't think he liked the open side. This has also meant we could use our monitor with sensor pad (angelcare) which doesn't work when attached to your bed as they pick up your movements too. Good luck x

I’ve had 2 c-sections..most recently days ago. Both times i’ve used a Next2me attached to the bed with no issue. Mine is attached just below my pillow so they could wriggle into the baby’s space, also leaves room for a bedside table.

It makes a huge difference to not have to lift the baby far so I can just reach over. It’s a bit of a shuffle moving down so I can get out of bed but I do it slowly and not that often!

I the Snuzpod looks nicer but isn’t as wide so I kept my dd in ours til she was 8 months.

I’d really recommend, they’re a game changer.

*below where the pillow is, so it CAN’T wiggle into the baby’s space

Sorry for typos and poor grasp of language. I’m mad tired.
