Are baby sleeping bag with arms safe?

Just that really as most don't seem to have them I wondered if there is a reason that anyone has heard. I remember with DD her arms always seems cold in the morning. Now expecting DC2 due in December so thinking with arms would be warmer.
Tried googling but can't see much info either way.

They arent supposed to be used for night time sleep. You could use a long sleeved body suit under a sleep suit so there is a double layer on the arms

It is supposed to stop them overheating, so because most people have central heating and double gazing they generally aren't recommended. If your bedroom is cooler than average or they're not wearing much underneath then it's fine. That said I couldn't actually find any so might not be an option.

If you scroll down it talks about why they should be sleeveless.

I seem to remember you could get special sleepsuits with thicker arms to keep them warm in the sleeping bags.
