Hi all. I recently had an ultrasound scan on a lump on my shoulder blade. I have no idea how long it has been there - it doesn't hurt - but it is now about 6cm.
The person at the ultrasound said they would refer me for an MRI because of its size and that he couldn't see anything concerning on the ultrasound.
I am now quite scared that it's going to be something horrific and cancerous. I know I won't really know anything until they do the MRI in three weeks time but is it likely that the person doing the ultrasound would have said anything else had he seen something bad? I keep worrying that perhaps he just meant he isn't qualified to or that he is but didn't want to say so.
