London advice - 17yr old day out

I live in north London and my 17yr old brother is coming to stay for a few days at the end of the month.

I've got a 9 month old who will be out with his dad for the afternoon of a Sunday at the end of the month.

Help me think of a fun thing I can do with my brother... I'm so out of touch with non baby stuff these days!

He's very mature, likes food and cultural stuff. I dont mind how much it costs.

And if anyone has ideas about something we can do on the Monday (with my baby too) that would be great!

If you have a car the Harry Potter tour near Watford is very good.

If you want to do something in Central London I would get the train to Waterloo and walk up the South `Bank to the city, stopping anywhere that takes your fancy. If he’s into culture you’ll pass the National Theatre/Festival Hall complex which often have small exhibits as well as the Tate Modern (all free admission) and see the Globe Theatre. You could cross the wobbly bridge to see St Paul’s or walk up as far as Tower Bridge and cross over to the Tower. On the way you will pass loads of restaurants, shops and street performers of various types.

If his interest in culture extends to theatre you could try the app TodayTix to get well priced tickets to a West End play in the evening.

Thanks for the ideas! The globe could be fun he hasn't been there!

My 18 year old spends a lot of time with is big sister in London. They often go to SoHo and wander round, then eat dim sum. (the golden dragon is their favourite) Or they go to Brick Lane. The Tate Modern is good too.

Anthony Gormley at the RA is good and cultural - also the current exhibition at the Tate Modern?

I know this sounds so bad but I'm not really one for modern art... I did a history degree so I'm more museum inclined.

Soho is a good shout - I'll find us a cool restaurant and cocktail place

I took my 16 year old son to the London Dungeon recently, we both really enjoyed it.
