Don't want a baby. But sad I'll never have another. Anyone else?

Youngest is 8.
DH had snip.

I don't think I would want to start over again. I'm just a few years from the school run ending (primary) and I can sleep in a little in the weekends now.
Nappies and bottles are a distant memory.

But oh, looking at the photos of my kids as baby's. The gummy smiles. The fat little legs. The big,soulful eyes.

Endless cuddles and sloppy kisses. Chubby hands gripping my fingers.
Wrapping them up warm in winter with little hats and mittens, tucking them into a buddy with a blanket.

I do miss it all.

So glad I found this thread. I have three, youngest is one. I am also reaching the upper end of fertility. I know my resources are already spread thin, but I can't quite quiet the voice about having another.

I have a 2.5 year old at the minute and I don't want to do the newborn bit again but I love this stage so much. I'm horribly conscious that I am probably experiencing the best years of my life and they're slipping away from me, he starts pre school next year and I'll start full time work and these happy days of feeding the ducks and going for little toddles with him clutching my hand will be over.

And now I'm crying
