It is not clear on the website where the discounts are. Is it any good?

I’ve got one. I’d say it was worth it. It’s about £6 and lasts about 5 years.

Mintypea5 · 28/09/2019 17:04

I have one it's definitely been worth it.

Skiaddicted · 28/09/2019 17:04

Dh is a paramedic so we have one, we used it often enough to have made our money back and more i would say within a few months

Boobiliboobiliboo · 28/09/2019 17:04

Yes! £5 for 5 years and you’ll make more than that back on the first thing you use it for.

I’ve used it for money off flowers (interflora), meals at toby Carvery, hotels at Expedia, travelodge, mountain warehouse, subway, Bill’s, Starbucks and loads more

badfurday · 28/09/2019 17:06

Yep I have one. Worth it. Money off cinema and restaurants 👍🏻

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 28/09/2019 17:11

I got one. It was 5 for 2 years for me. Not used it yet.

Invisimamma · 28/09/2019 17:22

Yes we have one, I get 20% off EE phone contract so it is worth it just for that.

Other ones we use regularly are £4 off a £20 spend at nandos, 4% at Argos (great for toys at Xmas and big purchases like a hoover or TV), 6% at m and s, cheap cinema tickets, pizza hut.

Others we use less often but might be useful are places like hotels.com, Legoland, butlins holidays.

littleme96 · 28/09/2019 17:23

Yes, well worth it - made my money back the first time of using it!

Boobiliboobiliboo · 28/09/2019 17:27

4% at Argos (great for toys at Xmas and big purchases like a hoover or TV), 6% at m and s,

That’s off gift cards.

I work for the NHS so eligible for one but to be honest I've always used my ID and never been asked to present a blue light card. I know it's only £5 so not expensive, but you may not actually need one 🤷🏼‍♀️

maternityleave234 · 28/09/2019 17:35

Yes if you shop at the shops on there.....

fowlweather · 28/09/2019 17:37

Yes as it gives you access to codes to use for cheap cinema tickets , use it at Halfords , all sorts. Wouldn't be without it!

How does that work online?

LighteningRidge · 28/09/2019 18:03

The best thing for me is the closed days at theme parks. Tickets are about £15 for Alton Towers Thorpe Park Chessington Legoland etc. No parking charges, 20% off food etc and the parks are relatively quiet. Ok the days are in March and Oct/Nov but still great value. Also Kew Gardens is free which I recently discovered which is great as I didn't manage to see it all the first time.

Digestive28 · 28/09/2019 18:06

Similarly never needed one and got money off various things included EE contract etc

Invisimamma · 28/09/2019 18:10

Yes most discounts are for gift cards, but just buy the gift card before you make a purchase, they are emailed to you immediately.

We've bought things like PS4, Dyson, smart TV using gift cards and saved a small fortune.

Toddlerteaplease · 28/09/2019 18:44

I've barely used mine!

usernamexox · 28/09/2019 18:51

Yes it's really good for cinema discounts alone. Have also used it for booking places of interest eg Cheddar Gorge. Saved about 40% off entry price.

fowlweather · 28/09/2019 19:36

@LighteningRidge how have you got Kew Gardens for free??

LighteningRidge · 28/09/2019 20:11

@fowlweather Just show your blue light card at the entrance and you get in free Grin

fowlweather · 28/09/2019 20:28

Yaaas! Must try this soon
