Do I need to go get some medical help?

My period is 8 days late, I’m testing negative but I have a stabby pain persistent on my right side, on the bit where the top of your leg meets your body right in that crease. It’s not intolerable but it’s there.

I miscarried at 6 weeks in June and this is my second cycle after that, we had sex at the right time so I could well be pregnant and I’m obviously worried about an ectopic.

I didn’t test until I was 5 weeks pg with the miscarriage, so I have no idea how early/ late I show up on a test.

Do I need to go and get seen to? Because I’m testing negative I’m not sure what they’d do?

If you're in pain, then yes, worth getting checked out. It could be something as simple as a uti.

Yeah that’s the problem, it’s not serious pain so I’m unsure what to do. There’s definitely something wrong, but I don’t know if it’s ‘go and see your GP NOW’ wrong or just ‘it will probably go away’ wrong iyswim.

How is it now @getterfeck?

Getterfeck · 19/09/2019 21:01

Pain has gotten a bit worse, still no period, still testing negative. I’m on day 42 of a normally 35 day cycle so if I was pregnant I’m fairly sure it would be positive by now, ectopic or not?

It’s probably a cyst.

Possibly, but you don't know. Make a gp appointment, then you can find out for sure.
