I have M.E. and I am crashing... again

I feel like my body is giving up on me. I'm 32 and feel about 82.

I just want to live my life without this extreme tiredness that never ends and the pain that comes with it.

Hugs. Be kind to yourself. Do as little as possible. Try to get some sunlight. From a fellow sufferer

It's crap. Another ME sufferer here, albeit a 'moderate' one. I totally feel for you. As you say, the tiredness never ends.

You say you're crashing, so at some point you should find yourself coming out the other side of the crash - hopefully?

What is your life like generally, when you're not having a relapse?

As Tillylantern says, be kind to yourself.

That sounds terrible op, I have Crohns associated fatigue and I find that hard enough, let alone ME. I have no advice but just wanted to offer my support.

I am lucky on the whole and don't find myself put out too much but last time i crashed i was off work for a month sleeping 12/16 hours a day.

I'd give anything to be at home right now.

I used to work full time. I reduced my hours to "part time" (30 hours Mon to Thurs) to see if it helped any. I just end up sleeping all day, or doing chores.

@BigbreastsBiggerbeard I live a busy life I guess. "part time" at work working 30 hours. I have a 5 yera old so school run in the morning plus making tea, baths, bedtimes etc on an evening. plus household things...

I know i need to pace a little but shit needs to get done like washing etc. and just that 1 chore can put me out for a day.

And we cant afford a cleaner

30 hours a week isn't what I call part time. When I worked mon-fri I cut corners by eating a lot of fresh ready meals, like lasagna and pies (the more high end ones) I bought ready cut veg and really made my life easier by doing this. Yes cleaning etc has to be done.
I'm guessing being only 32 you don't have kids at an age that can help? Do you have a partner who can help a bit more? It's so hard.

Sorry, I just reread your last post!

I have m.e too. I was bedbound through most of my 20s but went away more or less when I was pregnant with my daughter but now it's coming back and I'm terrified 🙁. I've nothing really to add to help you, just sort of to say that.. Well, I get it. Flowers
