Is this the most boring collecting of baby clothes ever?

Everything is pale blue! Confused oh wait, there’s some white. Grin

Who wants to just see a sea of blue when shopping for baby clothes? Surely they’re massively limiting the sales they can achieve by sticking with just blue (or pink- the other stuff is just pink!) Or do people really buy multiple identical outfits?

Is this the most boring collecting of baby clothes ever?

Shops are like that! Hard too when you don’t know what you’re having and so only have the pick of white.
For colours I love other brands- frugi, Toby tiger, maxomorra, etc.

Lots of them are online or in smaller stores.

EdtheBear · 16/09/2019 11:45

Just wait until they are bigger and everything is navy or sludge!

Unless you have £££ to buy frugi or deaigner boys clothes are incredibly boring.

EmrysAtticus · 16/09/2019 12:13

This is why I buy Frugi, LGR, Kite etc. You can't get second hand for pretty good prices on Facebook groups.

EmrysAtticus · 16/09/2019 12:13

You can get!

Junobug · 16/09/2019 12:21

I was also going to say scandi clothes are your friends here. Usually organic and really reasonably priced 2nd hand and in sales.

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 16/09/2019 13:08

Thank you everyone for recommendations. I’m actually looking for a gift for a friends new baby so second hand stuff is out but will check out some of those brands. My own DC are older and wear black, black, and sometimes, dark grey. Grin also boring!

All the Scandi collections I see are variations of grey, khaki, rust, mustard and brown! Dull dull dull (imo, but whatever floats your boat!).

For a gift I'd definitely head to Frugi. Joules and Jojo Maman Bebe have some nice baby bits too, same sort of price range.

katmarie · 16/09/2019 13:36

Boots do some lovely patterned baby grows and sets in nice bright colours, if you're on a budget. Otheriwse I agree with you completely, the sea of cream, blue, pink is a bit boring to be honest!

soundsystem · 16/09/2019 13:39

Lindex have some lovely (bright!) bits in at the moment, and not as pricey as Frugi, etc

ColaFreezePop · 16/09/2019 13:46

I second go to Boots.

My DD had some stuff from there until she was 9 months.

TateWorm · 16/09/2019 13:47

I always liked shopping in Zara for mine as they often had something different. It's been a while though so I hope they haven't turned into a sea of pastel too.

WhyBirdStop · 16/09/2019 15:50

H&M have some nice colourful baby boy things, a lot more online than in store and one of the only places you can get leggings without a frill! Next too. Everywhere else is joggers for boys leggings for girls.

Htom · 16/09/2019 19:29

Please tell me where this shop is.!!! I literally have no shops that sell nice baby boy clothes. Only denim and dark 🤮🤮🤢 which I hate.
I love pale blue and white but extremely limited where I live

Ohmygod123 · 16/09/2019 21:42

Looks like that shop is tradional British and spanish designer baby wear. Alot of the seasonal collections are baby blue or white

marmiteloversunite · 16/09/2019 21:52

Ted Baker in Debenhams has some lovely clothes for baby boys in different colours. It's my go to for baby presents.

Milkstick · 16/09/2019 22:20

Try TK Maxx too!

emsmum79 · 17/09/2019 07:22

Mothercare's Little Bird range has lovely and bright primary colours.

OhTheRoses · 17/09/2019 07:26

Oliver Bonas is great for baby gifts

Biggie123 · 17/09/2019 07:37

Little birds- designed by jools Oliver. All bright clouds and joyful.

Next and M&S were good five years ago. Sainsbury’s ok too.
