Talk to me about heated airers

What do I need to know about heated airers?

I'm thinking about getting one as I don't have the space for a tumble drier and in spring/autumn my clothes always feel slightly damp when bringing them in from drying outsides and they won't dry inside unless the heating is on.

Would a heated airer be a solution to my problems and which one should I get?

I really like mine. It dries a full load of washing overnight. I bought one from lakeland about 4 years ago and it's still going strong. I didn't buy the fancy cover, I just put a bed sheet over it which seems to do the job.

Aldi have one at the moment. Not big but ok for a single person or a couple. £26.

We had one, which we thought was good, but getting a dehumidifier proved much better.

At the end of the day a heated airer puts damp into the atmosphere, whereas a dehumidifier takes it out (and keeps the place smelling fresh).

Check out eBac - UK company and (touch wood) absolutely flawless customer service.
