That won't hurt it.

Chinese

Go for a soup option, some prawn crackers as they melt in the mouth nicely. Maybe a rice and sauce option if you think you could manage it in small bites

Pizza but not eating the crusts or maybe Chinese with rice and a sauce dish and prawn crackers which you can let melt on your tongue if its too sore to chew.

You've got an open wound in your mouth. I can't think of any takeaway which wouldn't cause problems. Even just a tiny bit of food getting into the wound will cause an infection like you wouldn't believe. If you want to eat something, just buy some soup with no "bits" in it - tomato or chicken broth. Or eat some icecream. But avoid the takeaways for a few days .

When I had a tooth out I ate posh yoghurt followed by posh mousse for dinner. Nice and cool! The dentist told me not to eat anything hot that evening.

When I had mine out I was told to avoid rice because it’s a devil for getting stuck in the wound and it being noticed. Chips are apparently ok though! So chinese with soup and chips I’d say

I had a tooth out two weeks ago and I wouldn't have been able to eat a takeaway that first evening. I had only liquid food the first day and only really soft foods the first few days.

Even two weeks mine is healing nicely but still keep getting things in the hole. Just be careful you don't want to dislodge that clot.

Chinese, but go for the soft noodles.
Don't get rice whatever you do.

kenandbarbie · 12/09/2019 16:01

The dentist said I don't need to stick to soup, just avoid things like baguettes, pizza crust and chewy meat, fish would be ok..... I think I'll get noodles.

Soft foods, only luke warm at the most.

BlueCornsihPixie · 12/09/2019 16:20

No pizza! I would avoid rice as well. Anything crusty or small!

So either Chinese or curry but no rice. You could have a basic curry and naan.

Avoid eating over the socket and just be careful!
