London at Christmas.

So me and my DP are going to London for the weekend in December (early December) because I really want to see the winter Wonderland. My partner has never been to London and I haven't been since I was very very small.

Anyway I'm looking for recommendations for other things to do/ places to eat.

We've booked to see a show and to do the London Eye.

Thanks.

I would definitely recommend Kew Gardens at Christmas. It's a beautiful walk round with all of the light installations and laser shows.

But I would say be prepared for everywhere to be busy at all times!

Go for a walk along the south bank it’s magical at Christmas. Or ice skating at Somerset House is beautiful too.

If you can, visit Winter Wonderland on a weekday before schools break up. Otherwise it's bedlam.

I love walking around the West End and Mayfair after dark to see the lights - Bond Street ones are always especially beautiful. Southbank Christmas market is a good place for lunch and a wander if you are also going on the Eye. Ice skating at the Natural History Museum or Somerset House.

Avoid Covent Garden and Oxford Street like the plague!

I don't agree avoid Oxford Street!

John lewis has little ski hut thing on roof, liberty is gorgeous and Carnaby Street behind it has excellent Dec's.

Covent Garden and 7 dials is usually beautiful.

Break it down into villages. Budget etc.
I think Kew will be waste of ⌚ traveling out. Hampstead and primrose hill are pretty much next to each other and gorgeous.
