Totally frustrated with Air BnB (please note this is not in AIBU......)

I am not being fair

DD has to work in London tomorrow

I have booked an air bnb about an hour and a half ago - it has not been confirmed (I know they are probably busy/at work etc)

But they have taken the money from my CC and I am unsure about sending her off on the train with no hotel confirmed at the other end (which is about me not her - she is carefree and will get on the train no matter what)

Do I book another room or hang on, if I am hanging on, how long do I hang on

Your daughter is working.
In London.

So I presume she is old enough to book her own accommodation?

What is it with parents these days that won't let their children grow up?

I was travelling and hitchhiking - o.k. I wouldn't recommend it now - at the age of 16. In UK.
Working in Europe at 18, staying in hostels.

All we had was a "reverse charge call" to our parents on the landline. (When we could find one).

They have refunded my first payment but it might take 7 days...

Restup hasn't got a single room & Easyhotel isn't in the right place for a 6:30 start

Do you know if my brother/mother or husband left one job in East Anglis at 7:30pm and started another in Richmind at 6:30 the next morning I would probably help them sort out accommodation - but if that isn't how your family works, that's fine

I've give up on airbnb.too much hassle for not enough return compared to a proper b&b or budget hotel.
good luck to your daughter!
