Air tumble tracks

Has anyone got one of those air filled (pump up, like a bouncy castle I assume) tumble tracks?

Are they any good for summersaults?

Our garden slopes and DH is anti trampolines anyway, so am wondering if these are a viable alternative - not for bouncing obviously, but 12 year old loves doing summersaults into swimming pools, on trampolines and on to crash mats in the school gym.

Having been very sporty indeed up until recently he is doing far less now because all of a sudden this summer all his friends are staying indoors playing computer/ console games. He used to be out playing kick about football 5+ hours per day, but no more...

He's asked for one of these tracks but I know nothing about them beyond the reviews and they're pretty expensive. Would a 3 meter by 2 meter be good for back and front flips, or too little protection?

I meant 3 meter by 1 meter - 3 by 2 is sadly really expensive.

My DD is a gymnast and has used these tracks. They are ok for things like round-offs/cartwheels and back handsprings but if she is doing tucks in the air they always land on a crash mat, there is not enough support from the air floor.

Thanks RosieMapleLeaf that's what I suspected... DS has found a YouTuber who does flips on an airtack and really wants one, but I suspect that you have to already be skilled at landing "softly" - after all done people do them on the ground.

My son is a gymnast and we have one that is 4m x 1m and that is really only just long enough. Not sure 3m would be good for much.

Thanks outnumbered - back to the drawing board.
