Baby friendly recipes

Hi

As I'm such a stickler for following the rules I wonder if anyone can help me out with some baby friendly recipes that adhere to all the rules the health visitors lay out for us for my eight month old dd.

They've told me today spag bol and curry will be great however i'm not the best cook and more often than not rely on jars. I do like to give it a go, but having googled, particularly for spag bol recipes - they all use stock.

Does anyone mind sharing their baby friendly recipes please?

I will admit I'm very wary of this weaning lark and stick to soft food as I'm petrified of dd choking. So far she has had things like scrambled egg on toast. Cheese sandwiches. Jacket potatoes then mostly pouches of different variations of Sunday dinner type meals.

The only thing I would say she is not massively keen on and refuses is tomatoes.

Thank you.

Oh and by jars I mean of sauce e.g. If I was making curry or bolognese I would normally just buy a jar.

You don't have to make stock just make it with water and later add a stock cube to the portion you eat

So make the bolognese but add water and no stock cube then remove babies portion the add stock cube? Genius!

Thanks, I'm so scared of doing it wrong that never entered my head!

Yep that would be fine. Or Kallo use a low salt stock cube

I did notice boots sold some baby stock cubes but didn't know if it was a gimmick so haven't tried them.

I'd just like to move away from pouches if I can.
