Why are you always so tired after a holiday doing nothing....

We had two lovely weeks in a lovely part of Spain, we slept late, we read our books all day and then went out for dinner and a drink in the evening. The most energetic thing we did over and above that was two small supermarket shops.

So why did it take until yesterday to feel vaguely human. Confused

I think it's the travelling? It's the only thing I can come up with!!!

Quite possibly, but it is most annoying you spend all year planning and saving and then you feel like death for the first week.

I bloody hope I got enough Vitamin D to last the winter, otherwise I want my money back. Grin

There is nothing that makes you feel more lethargic than doing nothing. I've been off work a month and it's been lovely (and I have a one year old, so my idea of 'doing nothing' is a higher bar than it once was!) but it's been taking me days to get around to doing tasks that I would normally do in 20 minutes after work. The less you do the less you want to do and the bigger a deal tiny tasks become.

Relaxing is exhausting I find. The more you do the more you can do sometimes.
