Does anyone store their christmas decorations in a shed?

We're looking at a house that doesn't have much attic space at all. That's where we're used to storing seasonal decorations but we'd have to find an alternative. Has anyone kept them in a shed and how did it go? Rationally I know that the attic is just as likely to be cold and damp, given that it's on the outside of the insulation (certainly cardboard boxes feel slightly damp coming down from ours) but a shed seems so much more outdoorsy, somehow.

I store mine in the shed in large, plastic bins with snap on lids. They all seemed fine last year but the shed is new and not damp inside. IDK if that makes a difference.

We store our decorations in the shed.

Our decorations are stored in plastic boxes and anything delicate is stored in plastic bags in the boxes.

Yes no problem

Yes and it's fine

Us too. Plastic tubs with snap lids. No issues.

No but those Big Useful Boxes (actual brand name of them) with a few silica gel packets tucked in amongst anything fabric or paper, would be fine.

Oh it's "Really Useful Boxes" apparently. They're very very good.

Technically not a shed, but we have a storage cupboard at the end of our balcony. Christmas decs are in there in a plastic tub and do just fine.
