Only clear liquid for a day and a half and already starving! Any suggestions please?

As per the title. I've got to have a medical procedure tomorrow and can't eat anything except clear liquids until 7am tomorrow and then nothing at all until 12pm.

I'm drinking loads of water and black and mint tea but I'm ravenous.

Any tips please?

The clear out stuff made me sick so that took the edge off the hunger.

Would be interested to know how you get on, DD has to have this. (She has already had Endoscopies and colonoscopy so know some of the horrors). We want to see the pictures when it is done but I guess sadly they won’t let you watch a video of your insides.

@Zebee You should put in a subject access request or whatever the equivalent is now to see the footage or pictures. These things aren't fun, surely seeing the pictures after isn't too much to ask.

Plus, sets you up with jokes for life! "I've seen the inside of my arse and it was nicer than this hotel room!“

Rocket I don't know what it's called but I swallow it and then wear a monitor all day. I then have to "retrieve" it and take it back!!

Felt sick after the moviprep so not hungry at all. Gastroscopy was so nervous again did not feel hungry. Think of the weight loss I told myself.

I think that might be the same as what I had.

I was given a bed, chilled out in the hospital all day, and then was given dinner.

Some people see it when it comes out the other end, a flashing light in the loo! I didn’t notice mine though.

That was it Rocket - it's in me as we speak!

I'm glad I don't have to go out today as I am sporting a very attractive tummy belt (like one of those vibrating ones they claim make you lose weight) and over my shoulder is a very early Walkman size monitor that is picking up the signals.
I can drink again now and have a 'small low fibre snack' at 1.30pm and then eat normally after 6.30pm today. (I actually dreamt of food last night!)

Apparently I don't need to retrieve it, it will make its own way out
