I've got my friends baby shower this weekend, shes one of my best friends but realistically this will be the last time I see her until baby is a month or so old. I've already spent what feels like a fortune on the baby but want to add something in the box for her. Ideas please either lovely single products or anything just not too expensive

She may not get a lot of self care time so I loved fancy hand wash and hand cream as there is a LOT of hand washing involved with nappies Smile Tisserand smells lovely without being too expensive.

Nice hand cream? You spend your life washing your hands in the early days!

Ditto moreismore!!

I was also coming on to say hand cream! posh lip balm is also nice.

Or fluffy socks (though maybe not in August)

I would have appreciated nice bath oil, when I finally had time for a bath I was grateful for some Neal’s Yard mum bath oil that was lovely.

Or some really lovely snacks for when baby is here eg chocs.

Or nice nightie/gown

Travel coffee cup so she can drink a still-hot coffee instead of making one, going off to change a nappy or feed, and coming back to it lukewarm.
Luxury chocolate bars or chocolate biscuits.
Kindle voucher for something to do during long night feeds.
Nice slippers.
Luxury shower gel.
Coffee cup holder for the pram, if it doesn't come with one already.

Yes to bath oils and hand cream.

This Works pillow spray is also good.

Jurassicmuma · 19/08/2019 16:11
