Apps like Dulux Visualiser - but for furniture, not walls!

I have decorated my bedroom a lovely fresh white and it looks so bright and airy- it’s great.

But oh my, the pine funiture (25+ years old) looks so tired , dated and baked bean orange.

Rather than replace, I thought I might at least first try painting it.

But find it so difficult to visualise painted furniture.

The Dulux Visualiser app is great for showing what your room walls would look like painted a particular colour.

Does anything know anything sort of sinmilar I could use to visualise how the furniture might look like painted?

Just paint it. You don't like it anyway. Pick a neutral inoffensive colour.

Try diy on a budget on facebook- loads of ideas that people have done themselves, really good up cycling

I like your attitude, kurri - though had been toying with a statement colour for the pine bed Shock

How about the little sample size pots and paint a patch at the back?

I've done the google image thing recently trying to chose between pure white or an oatmeal palette for new bedroom.

(ended up with white and pale grey!)

All the images show red walls at white beds.

Maybe my furniture should be tasteful and muted and not statement? Though it was just the beds I was thinking of as a statement piece

Maybe I should do a white and pale grey palette- sounds very tasteful and calming

This is sort of what I meant by maybe having a statement piece

!!

(hence trying to visualise impact in room!)

Ended up going for a soft whisper of grey for the furniture and a deep red for the bed. It actually really works!
