HELP - present inspiration needed

Nothing like leaving it to the last minute... it's my parents' golden wedding TODAY and I have yet to get a gift.
They have more than enough 'stuff', so I'll get them an experience of some sort. Right now, I can't think beyond a nice meal somewhere (somewhere special, not a run of the mill place), but if there are any inspired suggestions out there, I'd love to hear them. For their ruby anniversary I bought them a balloon flight.

Equally, any unusual restaurant suggestions would be welcome - Midlands/cotswolds/Welsh borders/south east Wales areas...

Thanks! (in the hope that inspired suggestions appear whilst I am prepping 00s of canapes this morning...)

As it's gold, could you do something related to the jewellery quarter? Maybe a meal there or something with bespoke jewellery design/making?

Shame about your location.

I was going to suggest afternoon tea in one of the first on the Solent. We did that for my parents.

But I'll put it here in case it helps anyone else.

I don't know area well but there must be a hotel in cotwolds someone where you could dinner and night stay in?

Is there such a thing as gold themed afternoon tea? Golden champagne and all the cakes decorated with edible gold?

What about a vintage car tour around bakewell/chatsworth ending in tea or a meal? www.vintageadventuretours.co.uk/

South Wales in the gold mining area isn't it? Do any mines do a visit and / or afternoon tea in their cafe?

Harborne Kitchen just outside Birmingham is very good.

Dolaucothi Gold mines in Carmarthenshire? Owned by the National Trust so bound to have a nice tea room too.

Welsh gold is meant to particularly sought after is it not? The royal family use it for wedding rings (or is that down to the heir to the throne being known as The Prince/ss of Wales? So I definitely think a gold related gift would be special.
