Nothing says 'good morning' on a Saturday like a cat vomiting on the stairs.

Luckily she's not ill, just had a hairball. But the strangled shriek jolting me awake, desperate retching and subsequent mess? Happy bloody Saturday.

I was woken up at 3am by the sound of the cat chasing a mouse around the landing. I couldn't be bothered to try and catch the mouse so I just closed the door. At 5.30, I was woken up again by thd deliightful sound of the cat retching...
At 8, I was woken up by the cat scratching at the door and shouting for breakfast.

I left the bedroom to find...

Regurgitated mouse remains on the landing
A whole dead mouse in the hallway
The back half of a mouse (with entrails) on the kitchen floor

Nice.

All this from a cat who was apparently ill this week with suspected laryngitis. I'd say she must be feeling better.

We took in 2 new kittens last week. One of them has taken to pooing on the doormat although she's happy enough using the litter tray for weeing. Waking up to that isn't much fun Confused

There's a bit at the end of the new Captain Marvel film that covers this very well. Grin

@gotmychocolateimgood
I've come to the conclusion vomiting on the rug is more comfortable, well it must be as my entire house is laminate apart from the one rug, which after the staircase is the next place they vom!
The dog on the other hand runs to the back door and begs to be let out if he is going to be sick, that's cats for you though, they think their in charge Grin
