Labelling clothes

Slightly horrified on discovering on my mother's transfer to a care home that I need to label all her clothes. As it's a fairly long time since I had to do it for my children and I don't want to have to sew on miles of nametapes ever again, I thought I'd tap Mumsnet wisdom on the cheapest, quickest and easiest way of doing it these days. Please can I beg recommendations?

Using the school methodology - I used to machine name tags, no hand sewing. I believe marker pens will work too, but washing instruction tags can be cut out.

Stick on labels. I've got stikins and they have lasted countless washes and tumble dries on my kids' uniforms.

The care home my FIL went to advised to get Stikins. They were so easy to use. Just google it

My nametags are good. They are stickers that can go on clothes or other things eg a favourite cup/shoes/walking stick. You can design the label yourself too.

Thanks so much, everyone, Stikins duly ordered.
