How to get into work?

I’m 24 and have severe adhd and moderate Tourette’s. I have never worked before due to my adhd being problematic but I am starting to find things easier and have stabilised on a medication to the point that I can start to do more. I would really like to work but I have no experience or many qualifications really. Over the last 7 years I’ve been to evening classes and have finally got my maths and English GCSE at C grade. It might sound an odd thing to want to do but I’ve really wanted to be a gp receptionist for a long time now. But obviously I have no experience and can’t just walk into a job as one. I was just wondering if anyone knows what sort of volunteering/ work experience may help me get into such a role. Thank you

How about the Prince's Trust? They run a variety of different programmes, including some that involve work experience. I've a lot of time for them as a charity.

Register with a temp agency? I found reception work that way without having any qualifications or experience

@Avacadosbeforemortgages thank you! I will look into the Princes Trust. I tried to do a programme with them before (not work related) but there were so few spaces that I didn’t get onto it. That was years ago now though so hopefully it would be more accessible now

Getting administration experience is extremely doable if you approach charities. It's the type of volunteering not many folk want to do as it isn't seen as something to brag about.
I did that for 18 months, did my European computer driving license, then got an admin job with a charity and within a year was in a managerial role.
I'm autistic so possibly different issues including being awful at interview but it has been so amazing to be in work.
