What the hell is wrong with my stupid tumble dryer?

I’ve set it to the highest setting, filled it with the load of washing, it’s not overly full and the washing was well spun so it’s not soaking wet.

It told me the program would take 2.5 hours. That was four hours ago, it’s still going and the washing is still slightly damp. I’ve got another load to go on as yet. There’s no washing machine at the cottage so I need to take loads of stuff.

It just keeps raining so no chance of hanging it out.

It’s not going to be dry is it?

Mine does this when the air filter thing needs cleaning out. After I do it I'm always amazed how much better it works!

We always book accommodation based on whether there's a washer, means we don't have to take as much stuff...home and abroad. I'd think it more unusual not to have one

If you are desperate whilst away, there will probably be a campsite with laundry facilities that you can use. Take detergent just in case.

I could almost write the same OP. Not away for the weekend for us but stuff isnt drying on airers. If I wash it today it should be OK but we have water problems....

Do all the filters & then Can you do a reset? Look it up in the manual/internet

MsAdorabelleDearheartVonLipwig · 05/08/2019 21:11

Didn’t know there was another filter. Blush How rubbish am I? Unless dh has changed it himself.

Definitely on the driest setting. Is just about dry now, thank god. Went on for about another half an hour and then I’d had enough and took it out.

We’re staying in a hotel for a couple of nights en route to the cottage so will be a bit more laundry than usual. Will have to google laundrettes.

God isn’t housework a ball ache? Grin
