Packed lunch inspiration

Dc is going into year 3 after the holidays and is wanting to change to packed lunches --which is fine now that hot dinners are no longer free.

I'm thinking a sandwich/wrap, mixed fruit, yoghurt, crisps/rice cakes and maybe a biscuit or cookie would be ok? But possibly a little samey after a while. Can anyone give me other ideas?

Pesto pasta, carrot sticks and hummus, grapes. Any pasta, potato or rice salad that he will eat?
I also quite often cook extra chicken breast so the sandwich filling is nicer, not forgetting pittas, rolls and wraps as an alternative to bread.

cold pasta mixed with tuna and sweetcorn

warm hotdog (boil water, tip into thermos, let sit for 5 mins, tip out and put warm hotdog inside)

Pinterest have some fab ideas.
My DS is fussy so would be happy with a sandwich/wrap and a few bits.
DD would love one with little compartments to have a mini muffin, breadsticks, cheese, raisins, pinwheels, pasta, cucumber, yogurt, etc.

My DC eat anything healthy if it's stuck on a skewer! So I just load up kebab sticks with things like chunks of cheese, cherry tomatoes, rolled up ham, olives, chunks of cooked chicken, slices of sausage, cubes of bread, colourful peppers etc... They're great for using up things in the fridge!
ied apricots, pineapple chunks, cubes of brioche, flapjack bites etc...
They also like those little one-portion pots of humous or Philadelphia which you can get from most supermarkets and I give them some chopped up veg and mini breadsticks to dip.
If I have time I make up individual portions of fruit in jelly in plastic Tupperware pots and on very rare occasions I make a stash of mini frittatas in a muffin tin. They're always popular!
Sweetcorn fritters are popular too realfood.tesco.com/recipes/sweetcorn-fritters-with-avocado-salsa.html

We use a Yumbox, it has little divided sections inside. If you google or look on Instagram there are thousands of ideas for a Yumbox. I usually do main part as sandwiches, pinwheel wraps, pasta (be careful with pesto if your school doesn’t allow nuts), quiche, frittata. Fruit in another section, veggies in another section either raw or leftover cooked broccoli etc and then some pretzels or crisps
