Not sure where to post this!...DD was very girly but now hisses at anything pink, glittery or frilly (though she’s fascinated by tops with flippy sequins 🤔). I’m struggling to find shops where she likes this style, it used to be Joules but now that’s far too girly apparently...I like Primark for basics but the older girl stuff feels a bit too grown up to me, Sainsbury’s and Tesco’s still seem to have some good basics that aren’t too girly...any suggestions on where else to look?

Next? H&M? Gap?

H&M covers all bases, including flippy sequin T-shirts with skulls/dinosaurs (look in the “Boys” section for those but my DD likes them too).

DD often chooses a mixture from both boys and girls sections, she prefers blue and a longer knee length cut of shorts so we got some nice navy and light blue ones in Sainsbury’s with rainbow sequin tops.

Mountain warehouse sell some nice clothes which are fairly gender neutral and extremely cheap in their sale also have a look in Fatface.

H&M have lots of tops with the flippy sequins at the moment. My 6yo is obsessed with them. Their girls clothes in general are quite nice. She equally is currently into football jersies and Tshirt and the longer sports shorts we buy in the boys section in Sports Direct I think. I like those, good length for her to run about/climb stuff, general play.
