Lidl fruit and veg boxes

I'm completely aware that this might be the dullest thread ever started on MN but I'm posting it anyway.

I'm completely obsessed with the Lidl £1.50 past their best boxes. We're on a huge budget at the moment and they've totally taken away the stress of being able to afford enough healthy food for the vultures that are my kids.

Anyway every time I go to get mine, there are people swapping bits around ie taking an aubergine out of one box & sticking it in the box with the cherries or whatever. Am I right in thinking this is stealing? Surely they share the good stuff out between the boxes because if all the good things were in one box it'd be worth more than £1.50. And also it's so cheap because you get what you're given?

I only ask because I'm fairly immoral compared to other posters (judging by any moral dilemma thread) and I hadn't even considered putting all the best bits in my box but if it's within the rules, I'll totally do it next time.

Also there was a bag of fresh mint in my box this week. Any good recipe suggestions for it?

I haven’t tried them yet, do you normally have to go early to get a good one? Definitely think swappers are immoral.

I’m not surprised people swap, some people are just greedy!
I’ve never seen any in my local Lidl, what time do you get yours?

I usually just pop in on my way to work and get one but I think they only keep them out until lunchtime.

They are good. I find there's usually plenty of salady things and vegetables. Then some fresh herbs and boring fruit (apples, pears, oranges) plus always something that when I was little, I would've thought was a bit posh (aubergine, apricots, pomegranate, fresh beetroot etc).
