Moving round the corner. Current garden is mainly pots, about 10 of which are about 2 foot wide with v established plants. How do I move them?

Also, what’s the etiquette on digging up plants to take?

Pots - flat bed trolley

Plants growing in the ground - count as fixtures & you have to leave them. Unless you have made proper prior agreement with the landlord if renting or buyers if selling.

We use these trolleys to move plants, as it means we don't have to lift them, you just edge them onto the lip. However it depends on where you have to take them or if you can lift them. If you can then a flat bed is better.

As for plants in the ground, these are considered fixtures and fittings and you have sold them, so you cannot remove unless with permission of the new owner or resident.

That looks good thank you. It’s a 5 minute walk or 1 minute drive. But We’d have to hire a small van to put a ramp up to get them in or just trundle them round. No steps either end.

I’ll chat to the buyers, I get the feeling they might want to pave the front garden so I’ll check with them. Don’t appear to be gardeners so probably won’t miss a couple of recently planted perennials if I ask them nicely.
