Anyone else suffering post partum hair loss Sad? Mine started when DD turned 3 months ish, she's now 5 months, I'm having to empty my hairbrush every single day as well as hoover my bedroom (where I do my hair in the morns) every day! Floor is COVERED! It also snaps and pulls out so easily... is there anything I can take to help it repair itself? I only wash my hair 1/2 times per week, blowdry it 1/2 times per week, and properly straighten it 2/3 times per week so nothing excessive... had it with DS and I think it did grow back, it's starting to now I've got tufts sticking up all over my head ! Just want to help it along a bit...

I had this and it was worse with DC2, I couldn't tie my hair up for months because I had big bald patches at the front :( time and a decent diet (protein, healthy fats) are all you can do to help, as far as I know.

It's horrible isn't it. I had a good haircut and fringe/layers cut in once the tufts were long enough to blend in.

I would advise a hair-trap over the plug in the shower though... my hair blocked it eventually and we had to remove the panel, clear it and re-silicone it.

I don't have advice about treatments though. I hope it comes back soon!

It is bloody horrible. I'm just wondering if there was a supplement I could take. I'm going to have a couple inches cut off I think (it's currently boob length) I think that may help. Things we have to go through eh 🙄
