Help - recurrent milk blister!

DS is three months old now and EBF, still feeding 15-20 times a day. I've had a recurrent milk blister on one nipple for a couple of weeks now. I've been doing the recommended home remedies - Epsom salts, hot compress, lots of feeding - but no progress! Has anyone got any wisdom on how to get rid of it? It's ridiculously painful and I'm worried it will develop into something worse. Grateful thanks for any advice!

Have you tried lansinoh cream yet? I know it's expensive but it really worked for me!

The purple tube stuff? I've been using that ever since he was born! No effect on the blister ☹

I’ve had a couple of blebs and only really found feeding through them to work although I know how painful it is! I did like a bit of coconut oil - soothing when taken from the fridge.

Is it a bleb OP? I think they’re different to a milk blister. I got recurrent blebs (looks like a tiny white dot on your nipple and is a bit of milk stuck at the end of the duct). Anyway I removed blebs with a sterilised needle and got rid of them returning by taking lecithin. Got this advice from Kelly mom website which is worth a look.

I agree with @BarberBabyBubbles, I did the same when I had one.

I also recommend when feeding on the affected side to change position of your DC so his gums aren’t rubbing on the blister. I used to lay DD down on her back and lean over her to feed. It helped a little bit with the pain but it wasn’t a comfortable position to feed for a long time in.
