Typed out long message and it didn’t post.

Basically I do have debt and are dealing with debtors but this has panicked the hell out of me. I’m really suffering with depression and anxiety right now.

Could this be a scam? I’ve looked into loans online and given details but not taken any out.

I’ve tried to google company but can’t find anything. Majorly stressing right now.

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

It’s a scam. Ignore and don’t give it any more headspace.

ShowOfHands · 30/07/2019 20:46

Google throws up lots of similar threads with people receiving exactly the same message. Def a scam.

I think probably a scam:

Thank you all so much for your responses. Feeling so much better now.

Thought I knew most scams but as I’m in debt it really worried me.

Thank you Flowers

"I've looked into loans and given details but I've not seen taken any out."

Well you've answered your own question. How could you possibly be in arrears if you've not taken out any loans and. Would they not write to you, if you did owe them.
The slimy cunts have somehow gotten hold of your phone number through details you've left. Either that or it's a very strange coincidence. Funny how your message failed to deliver to. Is that because the company doesn't exist by any chance.Hmm
To scam anyone from a pauper to a billionaire is lower than low. However. I can't understand why they're trying to scam people who are applying for loans.
Not to be anyway condescending but.
If you're looking into getting a loan.
You're obviously not rolling in the dough, are you.
Therefore what would they get anyway. Idiots. !!!!
Easy for me to say but. Please stop worrying

The OP does confirm that they are in debt though - the message doesn't say anything about loans, so could be about any debt.

OP - it's 99.99% sure to be a scam. If anyone does text/call/turn up at your door, ignore them.
It might be worth contacting the companies you owe money to, just to make sure that they haven't sold your debt to a debt collection agency.
