If you're asthmatic, how many inhalers do you have on the go at once?

Picked up my prescription today to replace some low inhalers and I'm just wondering where everyone else keeps theirs?

I have one in the bedroom, one downstairs, one in the nappy bag, one in the car and an unopened one in the cupboard. This way I'm usually fully covered.

Until the last year I've always been on a bricanyl inhaler which would show when I was running low so I knew to get a new one out. I was changed over to a salbutamol inhaler and I hate that there is no visual indication of it ending. I've been caught out a few times giving it a shake and thinking it's still got a bit of life in it yet. Is there a way of telling that I'm missing?

So anyway, how many do you have and where do you keep them?

Car, handbag, work belt, and new one in the bedside table

Oh, I thought this question was about how many different inhalers are you on. I tend to just carry the salbutamol one on my person. The other inhalers are maintenance & steroid ones that I use one to two times a day. I keep them in my bedroom.

Bedroom, handbag, spare in the medicine cabinet

Handbag and desk drawer at work (although I have to be careful that one doesn't go out of date). Sometimes, especially on holidays and things, I'll have a third one that goes in a rucksack or coat pocket.

Then I usually have an unopened one in my wardrobe.

A friend weighs hers, but I don't know how precise your scales would need to be to do that! I just do it by ear when I shake it, and will switch over 'early' if I'm likely to use it out and about.

That's blue — the brown and green ones just live in my bedroom.

Ds has one in his med bag that he takes out with him, one in the box with his daily meds, one in his bedroom, and a couple of spares in the cupboard. I also have one in the glove box and one in the changing bag for him.
Years ago, a Dr told me to put one in the fridge for an hour, then take it out and watch the condensation on it. Apparently it'll be more condensed where the medicine still is.
I tend to give them a shake and listen.

DS has them EVERYWHERE - Bedroom, car, school bag, PE kit bag, kitchen drawer, desk drawer, wash bag, plus always try and have a brand new sealed one in the bathroom.

Mind you, some of them can be quite old. Not that long ago I checked the date on one and it was 2015 , ooops!
