Self Catering Abroad - things to take with me.

Getting ready to go to Spain for our 2-week family holiday! We are self-catering in a villa, I love to cook and it suits us to eat in as one dc has special needs.
What are your top tips for things to take with me? (we have a generous luggage allowance).
Good knife already top of my list!

@TheKitchenWitch
Stick blender is for blending soups, smoothies, tomato sauce for pizza, fruit sauces for ice cream, etc (SN child won't eat lumps).
The baking sheets are for cooking the pizzas on! I also use them for cooking oven chips/fish fingers/ marinated chicken. They just need a quick wipe over after use so no nasty oven trays to scrub!
I will be cooking what I consider simple but tasty meals that we enjoy, pizza, soups, sauces for pasta, grilled meat / fish with salad etc.

I like cooking and enjoy buying local food (and wine).

op I am so baffled by your take list! But I think it’s great!

I think kitchen scales is one of the battiest things I have heard! What for? Are you making pizza dough from scratch? I honestly don’t mean to offend and I am assuming your SN child is possibly much easier to cater in for rather than the roulette that eating out can be Smile

I always take olive oil with me- often the tiny supermarkets have a shit selection at SOIB prices!

Marmite- kids would possibly keel over if there was no marmite, rancid stuff that it is. Grin

Yes, I will be making pizza dough from scratch. My kitchen scale is very slim and light so it's easy to pop in the case! Pizza is a family favourite.
Cooking is a pleasure for me, I find it relaxing, especially when I have a glass of wine in my hand. I know that some people don't like to cook on holiday, each to their own.

SN child has autism and severe learning difficulties, much more relaxing for us to eat in!
