Reviews on welling school Bexley borough

Hi All, we have moved into the area and we've been offered welling school for my child who starts secondary school. Very worried because we did not get a school we had asked for. Please can you share what this school is like. Thank you so much.

I forgot about Blackfen Girls - has a good reputation locally - it is partnered with Hurstmere boys

Chislehurst school for girls - this is the old Beaverwood Girls which did get good results. I always enjoyed meetings up there.

I know several girls at Blackfen girls and 2 of my cousins went there. It seems pretty good.

Chislehurst girls also has a good reputation but I don't personally know anyone there.

Are you keen on an all girls school? As Coopers is a mixed school near to Chislehurst girls that's pretty good.

I wouldn't recommend Plumstead Manor. I know it's co-ed now but it was dreadful a few years ago.

Hi All, thank you for your great views and suggestions. Would love to know about good Sixth form schools/collages for my older daughter in Bexley, Bromley or Greenwich boroughs. She's considering Christ the king Sixth firm college in Sidcup. Could you share experiences or reviews if this is a good College that to get good grades for University. She's also considering Buller's wood in Bromley, Blackfen girls school, Thomas Tallis and Harris Academy Greenwich. Please share your reviews of these and other schools that offer a good Sixth form programme. Thanks so much.

Erith is dire, my DD went there. Don't consider Bexleyheath Academy either as it's even worse. Blackfen is quite good, my friend's DD has recently finished there.
