NC for this. I hope! DD9 is massively into drama and singing, seems quite good, but obviously has it all to learn. She wants to do it professionally. She currently attends a weekly drama class and I'm trying to organise singing lessons. We live out of London but near cities.
I'm trying to work out what next step is best for her. We could carry on with the class she does now, 1 hour a week plus singing lessons if I can get them sorted out. That gives her a good grounding and lots of fun.
Or I could, at approx 3x the cost of the drama class (haven't factored in singing lessons as I don't know the cost) send her fo something like Pauline Quirke or Stagecoach. They'd give her more opportunities to get on a real stage in a professional production, which I guess would let us know if she actually is any good. But would she learn any more from that?
I don't know... having a dither! WWYD?
It's hard to discuss with anyone IRL because it can sound very boastful and I don't want to do that. I just want to give my DD the best possible chance to do something she loves and do it as successfully as possible.
