Does travelling in aeroplane do anything to tablets - painkillers?

Recently moved to another country, meaning I took all my medications with me. My insulin always has to travel in hand luggage as the hold is too cold and destroys it.

I've never heard anything about tablets being affected, so threw a couple of packs of my prescription cocodamol (for bad period pain) into my hold luggage. I also chucked in the remains of an anti anxiety medication that I no longer need (kept it as back up, in case I feel the need it at in future) as it doesn't go out of date until the end of the year. Now suddenly wondering if the cold temp might have done something to make my meds less effective?

Really don't want to discover that they have been somehow weakened/ made useless in the middle of an awful period!

Have googled but can't find anything about this.

Best to contact the manufacturer to be sure.

I have certainly never had paracetamol or ibuprofen affected in my hold luggage. Not had anything else in the hold because I carry it in my take on. Any prescribed medication should be carried this way, and some countries are funny about codeine (it is completely illegal in Greece for example) so I wouldn't put it in the hold.
