How do I get nice feet by Friday PM

Hello!

I'm a bridesmaid at a wedding this weekend and I've just noted by feet do not look great.

I don't tend to wear shoes in the house or garden and flip flops when out so they're very rough and a tad ingrained with dirt Blush

Is there some miracle thing I can do to soften them up

Thank you

Book a pedicure for Friday PM
Before then go and buy a pumice stone or better still one of the chiropodist sponges I think they are made by nelsons?

Soak feet for ages, pumice and apply flexitol and leave it for a few hours then repeat the soaking and pumicing. Trim and file nails and push back cuticles and apply flexitol overnight again.

Get a good foot scrub too the peppermint body shop one is nice then go for the pedicure and they will be so much better

You can get foot masks.

See a chiropodist if you possibly can

Absolutely slather your feet in a thick moisturiser, put socks on and leave overnight. Magic!

Proper pedicure with a chiropodist / podiatrist.

You need to go for a spa pedicure (make sure it's the full shebang and not just a file & polish).

They will do everything, foot soak, hard skin removal, foot masque/moisturising, toenails, file polish etc. Get a gel polish and it will last ages.

Takes about 60-90 mins, costs £25-40 quid depending where you live.

I have awful hard skin & picked bits to make bloody sore bits! Will see podiatrist to make an appointment

meepmoop · 17/07/2019 14:27

Thanks everyone, looks like I'll be booking a treatment. Such a hardship!

A long bath, foot file and lots of cracked heel cream then paint your nails.

orangeshoebox · 17/07/2019 14:51

pedicure if you can spare the time and expense.
if not, warm bath each evening with some soda crystals to soften the skin. rub off dead hard skin with a rough towel. then moisturiser & socks for a few hours (preferably over night)

ohcanada · 17/07/2019 14:58

Don't do one of those korean foot masks! Your skin peels like crazy but takes 3-4 days for it to get going and then your skin looks like a bag of parmesan. I learnt the hard way Grin.

Can you soak in hot water maybe, scrub with a pumice stone, get a pedicure to tidy up nails.

latulipe · 17/07/2019 15:15

Pedicure.

maternityplanning · 17/07/2019 15:23

I used to know a podiatrist that was pretty upset when people asked her for a pedicure! They are supposed to work on actual foot problems. Probably an expensive way to get a pedicure anyway?

stucknoue · 17/07/2019 15:33

Pedicure ASAP, many nail bars are open until 8pm and some have walk ins. Don't bother with gel polish but get a full pedi

PetrichorRain · 17/07/2019 15:34

One of those foot grater things and lots of scholl heal cream (or anything else with urea).

Scrape your feet with a pumice stone then slather on Vaseline and wear socks to bed. Do this for a couple of nights then get a lovely pedicure. I have to do this now and again and it works.
