Toddler on a plane

In a few weeks we're taking a short haul flight to visit family. The flight is less than 2 hours but obviously will have more travelling either side. Any tips for taking an almost 2 year old? She'll be on our laps hopefully, she's a very active toddler and we're thinking dummy for her ears, kids headphones with some peppa pig on a phone and lots of snacks.

Does anyone have any other tips to make it less painful for us (and other passengers) please?

My three year old has flown a few times (although all under 3.5 hours flight time) and she's been no bother with just an iPad, loads of snacks and a travel pillow.

Rainorsun the glass bottles are fine. They are 100ml. We never bother with the sachets.

I don't like the idea of an excited toddler slapping the back of my seat with post it's or anything else so I wouldn't do that. It's harder when they are on your knee but we've always taught them to avoid touching the seat in front and they are really good whilst flying now they're older.

Snacks, games on iPad, teddy and a colouring book should do it. It's only a short flight

If its just a 2 hour flight then you won’t need more than an ipad with a few shows downloaded on them, his usual change bag, and some lollypops to help with ear pain.

I've flown in June with my toddler, who will be 2 in August. I made a video about what we packed:

The flight was around 5 hours and we only needed about half of it, so the rest is now stored away and will be used the next time :)

Books to read, sticker books, and audible app with some audio books.
