I feel ridiculous posting on here but google isn't helping and I don't want to waste 999 time calling back again.

DP just turned up home drunk, head split open- lump/bleeding but it has clotted.

I called 999 and they are sending someone.
I'm here with our 17 months old asleep on me, DP has fallen asleep (I couldn't get him to stay awake) our house is set behind the main road and I'm worried the ambulance won't be able to see us. Do they call if they can't find the address? I can't really go outside and wait with a sleeping baby and leave DP alone.

Sorry panicking a bit. 999 operator said it might be a wait, which I totally get but not sure how long is a wait and what to do. I called 30 minutes ago.

Is he asleep or unconscious? If he is unconscious then ring 999 back and update

Put the lights on at the front of the house , open the curtains .

Poke DP awake .
Head injury . Drunk .
Don't let him sleep he could vomit or have concussion.

Get his shoes off and slap the soles of his feet ( fecking hard)

Pinch him, shout at him,

Anything to keep him awake .

I had to keep my SIL awake with concussion it wasn't easy .

Ok thanks. If I had to bet I'd say asleep rather than unconscious

I've slapped/pinched and tried cold water though he's not waking up, but that isn't unusual for him after a couple, lights are on and front door open but you can't see us from the road so I just hope they work out looking behind the other houses
