Im so excited. We have booked a trip home to the UK, first time in 16 years. Going to go to Seville too for a couple of days. Im so excited I could bust !!!
Anyways now to the help I need. I have 6 nieces and nephews there that i have never met, dont know them at all. I want to bring them a gift each. I have 2 nieces in their early 20s and 1 niece and 3 nephews in their mid to low teens ( 13 and 14 ). I dont know them either.
They are on my DH side and the family really dont keep in touch/not that close. The 2 older girls were little kids when DH left to come here and the others had not been born so he doesnt know them either.
I thought maybe stuff from sephora for the girls and a team shirt from one of our local sports teams for the boys. I am aware how sexist that is, so I asked the one parent I can contact if his girls would prefer the make up or the sports shirt. He didnt know. He is the nrp but I figured Id get some guidance. Anyways now I dont want to be that person who just assumes so if you were that age, what would you like as a gift from the USA from a total stranger.
Have I mentioned Im so excited I could bust

I don't know anyone who would turn down Sephora stuff to be honest. Just get something like a mixed palette or brushes if you don't know their style/ colouring.

And it's very kind of you. I think the thought is really kind. I'd also buy a couple of chocolate things- Reece's pieces are impossible to get here (we get the cups and far) We do get Hershey's though so avoid that.

Hmmmbop Thanks, that what I thought too, was thinking the naked pallet to be honest, its very neutral.

You dont get reeses pieces? Really?. I thought all our crap candy was available there now. British candy is so much better, never even thought of candy cos why would you eat this crap when you get way better stuff there. Maybe Ill have a rethink

If I was being given something it would be pop tarts. You get way better flavours due to being allowed all the artificial ones.

Reese's peanut butter cups and Hershey's cookies and cream and kisses are standard here now but other American cans tends to be in the "world food" isle (and expensive) but Reese's pieces and peanut butter m&ms are reserved for specialist shops! (Can you tell I like peanut butter candy Grin).

Neutral palette and a hockey/ basketball or football (not soccer) shirt sound like great gifts.
