Need a new (non-massive) mobile phone - any recommendations? They all seem so BIG!

I need a new mobile. I am technologically backwards. The main reason for me choosing my last phone was that it was a lovely apple green colour. However, it's a Windows phone and it seems Whatsapp will not be supported on Windows phones from December.

My main criteria this time is that it's not a massive phone as I have tiny hands and a large phone will be dropping to the floor as soon as I've fumbled it out of the box. Just spoken to my mobile provider and they offered me the Galaxy A10 but but it's got a.6.2 inch screen!! My current phone is 3 inches (just under).

Can anyone recommend a decent smartphone that isn't huge? I don't want anything fancy. I text, phone, play games, listen to music. I don't want any of that Apple nonsense, so no iphones for me (unless it's a freebie).

I would be pathetically grateful for any advice, recommendations, warnings, anything. I'm all at sea.

Ive got a Samsung s7 which I really like. Not sure of screen size but it doesn't seem as big as some others I see.

Thanks AnthonyCrowley - just looked at that one, and it's definitely more manageable at 5.1 inches. Seems to have good reviews too.

Yes, I really like it. It's an old model now, there's been an s8, s9 and probably an s10 since then. Not sure if they're similar sizes or have got bigger. But the s7 does everything I need it to.

I have a Google pixel 2 which is 5"
I really like it. It's fast, good storage and camera. Unlimited cloud storage for life for all photos uploaded from it. USB c charging means that's very fast too.

I used to break a phone every six months but this has lasted 18m so far.

I have a Huawei P20 lite which is a bit taller than a Samsung s7 but thinner in both width and depth. It cost £199 brand new while my partners s7 cost £170 second hand.

They're both great phones for small hands but we need cases because they're both quite slippy phones and we're incredibly clumsy.

I believe this meets the requirement for a small phone Grin

Galaxy S7 winning so far....Is it easy to back things up on the S7? Specifically photos?

I've just opted for the s10e, specifically because it's much smaller than s10 or s10+.
