What's your dream festival line up?

I'm not watching Glastonbury 2019 (Stormzy, George Ezra Confused) but am instead enjoying Glastonbury 1994 - Levellers!

I was there and it's still one of the best gigs on my list. Not that the Levellers ever let me down.

It got me thinking what my dream line up would be. I've seen loads of 'greats' at festivals but the music didn't translate well imo.

Seven acts only - dead or alive.

Here's mine, not in any order:

Rammstein
New Model Army
Levellers
Led Zeppelin
The Doors
Foo Fighters
Linkin Park

The Levellers are the quintessential British festival band aren't they? Grin

Where can I find this Levellers Glasto coverage. I’ve seen them many times back in the day

StoorieHoose · 29/06/2019 23:14

I think the Levellers played in 1994 so might be on YouTube cos it was filmed by Channel 4

AC/DC
Elvis
Queen
Elton John
Guns n Roses
Aerosmith

AhhhHereItGoes · 29/06/2019 23:33

David Bowie
ELO
UB40
Queen
RHCP
Prodigy
Black Eyed Peas

Lovely mix there.

BillyAndTheSillies · 29/06/2019 23:40

Foo Fighters
The Smiths (but like PP said, only if Morrissey isn't allowed to speak)
Arctic Monkeys
The Killers
The Prodigy
Chase and Status
Fatboy Slim
The Rolling Stones

And depending on how tomorrow's set goes The Cure

Based on my favourite people I've seen live at festivals. I thought this year's Glastonbury had a pretty good line up, really is something for everybody.

I don't necessarily think Stormzy was a great choice for a headliner - but he put on a fantastic show, his energy was amazing and he looked so grateful and happy to be on that stage. Not much better than seeing happy performers at the end of a set.
