Ok so totally inappropriate question but how do you ever manage to have sex when you have teenagers?

They go to bed at the same time as us, they never leave us alone, they tend to hang round with us all weekend and dd1 gets up at the same time as us on the weekend. If I stay up later than them I'm too tired anyway. If they both go out with friends (which is very rare) we check where they are on apple stalker app and put the chain on the door but this is probably every few months. Is that it for my sex life? Do I have to wait till they/if they leave home?

How old are your teenagers? I was an only child and lived in a relatively small town and most of my school friends lived miles away. I still had hobbies and stuff and a Saturday job and wasn't manacled to my home or my parents. I've never heard of teenagers never leaving their parents alone or hanging round with them all weekend. Did you mollycoddle them or something when they were younger? Most teenagers do NOT want to be hanging around the parents all the time.

We have 6 children - the eldest are teenagers. We have a lock on the bedroom door. In my experience if the doors locked in the night the teenagers will quickly get the message and leave you alone .

They are old enough to know that married couples have Sex .
