Washing liquid help!

Not the most glam topic, but one I hope someone can help with.

For the past few years I've been using Method 'Fresh Air' laundry liquid - partly for its eco credentials and partly (mainly) because it has no scent. They have discontinued it, so I need to find something else.

They pointed me in the direction of Ecover (unsurprisingly, because they're now owned by Ecover), but their liquids are still heavily scented.

Short of sniffing everything in the detergent aisle, can anyone point me in the direction of a detergent that has minimal scent? Failing that, a very natural scent (I know they all claim to be floral/nature based, but I still find them very artificial smelling).
If it's eco, that's a bonus, but not essential (it was more the packaging element of Method I liked, because it came in a large pouch, so reduced plastic waste).

Thanks!

Surcare? Bio D?

CanYouHearThePeopleSing · 27/06/2019 17:49

Have you used/tried either of those @Wellandtrulyoutnumbered ?

I should have phrased my question better - I have googled, and found a few 'fragrance free' options (inc these), but I'm keeping fingers crossed for a recommendation.

If you have used them - did they do the job? And would you recommend them?

The Bio D I bought the other day doesn't have, to me, any scent. I'm also rather impressed by how long it last and you don't need an awful lot of it, either.

Actually, I've just been to check and it definitely doesn't have a scent, nor does it list any in the ingredients, it's basically just surfactants.

I use soap nuts which cover all bases - totally natural, scent free and work out ridiculously cheap!

@whoami24601
I've been reading up on soap nuts- they sound perfect... and too good to be true?

We don't have much 'dirty' washing, but a lot of gym/running kit - do they cope with sweaty stuff well?

PS - just noticed your user name - we must be kindred spirits...

They are amazing! I'm a runner and DS has been toilet training for fucking ages so we definitely have our fair share of stinky clothes! I bought a kilo bag a year ago and have only just bought another! If you're not convinced you can get free samples to try.

I've used bio D powder. It was good but partner wanted scent . For me The bag wasn't recyclable though so annoyed me.

I used surcare many years ago.
