Washing clothes with vinegar

I bought some today and I’m about to do it as I’m reliably informed it makes stuff smell nice. But where do I put it and how much Blush help before I make everything smell like the chipper

So hopefully you’ve bought distilled vinegar - should be clear like water?

If so, I use in in the fabric softener drawer. You can use it to dilute your usual fabric softener to make it last longer, or add a few drops of essential oil.
You can also use it on its own instead of fabric softener, in which case the clothes will smell of whichever detergent you use.
Generally they smell “fresh” but not too perfumed, and definitely should not smell like a chip shop!
Good luck!

Yes that’s what I have. I don’t use fabric softener... how much do I have to put in, like the same I would if I did use fabric softener or?
My god I am no domestic goddess

I would put in the same amount as a generous amount of fabric softener (does that make any sense?!).

I don't think you can over do it; it just softens the water by keeping the limescale in solution. So the clothes are softer because they don't have limescale deposits on them.

Ah thanks everyone I have braved it.
Thankfully it’s nothing I need for work I. The next few days so not a disaster if I smell like the chippy

It won't smell at all. It's great for towels and helps çlean your machine too. I often squirt some in the dishwasher too.

It's also brilliant for cleaning the kettle!

I use it on my DD's clothes as she has sensitive skin and reacts to some fabric conditioner-works a treat! Also use it on towels as better than conditioner for absorbency
